With over two decades of industry presence and a strong reputation in North India’s manufacturing ecosystem, SAM Automation Technologies is once again attending MachAuto 2026. A longtime exhibitor for 13 years, the company continues to use the platform to connect with manufacturers, showcase advanced technologies, and strengthen relationships within the machine tool industry.
At MachAuto 2026, SAM Automation is presenting a comprehensive portfolio that includes metal-cutting machines, metal-forming solutions, laser-cutting systems, welding machines, metrology equipment, automation solutions, digital industrial technologies, industrial flooring solutions, and optical profile projectors, among others. Their wide-ranging display reflects their positioning as a complete solutions provider rather than just a product supplier.
Founded in 1998, SAM Automation’s journey began when its promoters, H S Saggu and Arun Malhotra, decided to leave their respective jobs and join hands with N S Aulakh. Their shared vision was to bring high-quality machine tool solutions directly to the industrial belt of Punjab. In 1999, the company was formally registered as SAM Automation Technologies Private Limited.
Over the years, the company steadily expanded its reach beyond Punjab, establishing a presence in international industrial markets. Today, SAM Automation operates as a strong marketing and solutions organisation with channel partners and networks across Chennai, Pune, Delhi, and Vadodara, serving customers across India.
One of the milestones in their journey came in 2006, when rising demand for CNC machines exposed a major industry challenge: a shortage of skilled CNC programmers and operators. Recognising this gap, SAM Automation established SAM’s Techno School, a skill-development initiative to train young engineers in CNC programming and industrial operations. With training centres in Mohali and Ludhiana, the institute continues to contribute significantly to the development of industry-ready professionals. This parallel focus on technology and skill-building sets the company apart in the machine tool ecosystem.
At MachAuto 2026, SAM Automation is showcasing solutions from some of the most reputed global and Indian brands it represents, including TRUMPF, Mazak, Lokesh Machines Limited, FANUC, Gedee Weiler, SolidCAM, Renishaw, AMGStar, Ecotile Flooring, Mitutoyo Instruments, Hi-Life Machine Tools, Haimer, Sphoorti, Alex Machine Tools, Precihole, and Strategi Automation, among others. The diversity of partnerships reflects the company’s commitment to offering end-to-end solutions covering machining, automation, metrology, digital manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure.
What sets SAM Automation apart is its strong emphasis on customer relationships and after-sales service. For the company, business does not end once a machine is delivered. Their team follows a holistic approach, ensuring installation support, training, application assistance, and consistent service backup. Over the last 20+ years, this philosophy has helped them build long-term relationships based on trust and reliability.
Speaking about MachAuto 2026, the company sees the exhibition as an opportunity to interact directly with manufacturers, understand evolving challenges, and offer practical, productivity-driven solutions. With manufacturing in India rapidly modernising, SAM Automation aims to support industries with advanced technologies while continuing to bridge the skills gap through SAM Tech School.
