Concord Enviro Systems marked a significant milestone at ChemTech 2026 with the showcase of its non-metallic heat exchanger technology, introduced in India for the first time. The innovation drew strong attention from visitors across the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, positioning the company at the forefront of advanced heat transfer solutions.
The newly introduced heat exchanger features a non-metallic shell constructed from FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic), while the tubes are made of high-performance polymer material reinforced for strength and durability. Designed to operate across a wide temperature range of –100°C to 250°C, the system is well-suited for demanding and corrosive process environments.
Speaking at the exhibition, Anil Moon, VP – Heat Exchanger Division, Concord Enviro Systems, said, “This is the first time such a non-metallic heat exchanger has been introduced in India. It is specially designed for corrosive applications and offers an effective alternative to conventional metallic systems.”
The technology worked for both single-side and dual-side corrosive applications, making it versatile for industries where traditional materials face performance limitations. The tubes, imported from Germany, are designed to deliver efficient heat transfer while maintaining resistance to aggressive chemicals.
According to Mr Moon, the system serves as a strong alternative to materials such as graphite and silicon carbide, which are commonly used in corrosive heat transfer applications. “This heat exchanger offers better performance in highly corrosive conditions and can replace graphite and silicon carbide in many applications,” he explained.
ChemTech 2026 provided Concord Enviro Systems with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate this innovation to plant heads, consultants, and procurement professionals seeking reliable and long-lasting heat exchange solutions. The response at the company’s stall was highly encouraging, with several visitors showing keen interest in understanding the operational benefits and lifecycle advantages of non-metallic systems.
The exhibition also allowed the company to strengthen its engagement with existing customers while exploring new opportunities in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
“The response at ChemTech has been very positive. Many visitors were excited to see a non-metallic heat exchanger of this kind being introduced in India. We had productive discussions about ongoing and upcoming projects,” Anil Moon added.
Concord Enviro Systems views ChemTech as a strategic platform to introduce advanced technologies and reinforce its leadership in process solutions. The successful showcase of its non-metallic heat exchanger marks another step forward in expanding its portfolio of innovative and application-driven systems.
With strong visitor and rapid growth of industry, Concord Enviro Systems looks forward to converting exhibition interactions into long-term partnerships, further strengthening its position in India’s process engineering landscape.
