Motherson Partners with Hellmann Worldwide to Launch Global Automotive Logistics Venture

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (Motherson), a leading provider of integrated engineering and manufacturing solutions, has entered into a joint venture with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, a globally recognized, family-owned logistics company. The new entity will be headquartered in Dubai and will focus on delivering end-to-end supply chain services designed specifically for the automotive sector.

This collaboration brings together Hellmann’s extensive global logistics infrastructure and digital capabilities with Motherson’s deep-rooted expertise in automotive supply chains. The venture aims to address the increasing complexity of global automotive logistics by offering streamlined, efficient, and sustainable solutions. Through this partnership, customers will benefit from access to a vast network of over 30,000 suppliers as well as long-standing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The joint venture is expected to enhance operational consistency and cost efficiency across logistics networks while improving visibility and responsiveness in supply chain operations. Both partners share a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and will incorporate advanced technologies and best practices to support decarbonisation goals across the automotive value chain.

Arjun Kochhar, Chief Executive Officer of Motherson’s Logistics Solutions division, stated that the initiative aligns with the company’s strategy of building specialized platforms that serve evolving customer and ecosystem needs. He emphasized that the partnership combines industrial strength with logistics expertise to create resilient and adaptable supply chains suited to a rapidly changing global environment.

Madhav Kurup, Global Chief Operating Officer at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, highlighted the cultural alignment between the two organizations as a key driver of the partnership. He noted that the collaboration is built on shared values and long-term vision, aiming to elevate automotive logistics through smarter processes and seamless global coordination.

Hellmann operates in more than 60 countries, managing millions of shipments annually across air, sea, road, and rail networks. Motherson, founded in 1986, has grown into one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, with operations spanning over 400 facilities globally. The new venture is expected to strengthen both companies’ positions while supporting the broader automotive ecosystem with future-ready logistics solutions.
