Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, has launched the new BLAZO i-TRK, a heavy commercial vehicle designed to help transporters increase earnings, improve productivity, lower operating costs and manage fleets more efficiently. Positioned as “Profit Ka Rocket”, the BLAZO i-TRK combines fuel-saving technology, a powerful engine, connected fleet solutions and service guarantees. Mahindra said the truck can deliver up to 10% better fuel efficiency and has the potential to generate up to ₹15 lakh in additional profit per truck over five years, subject to operating conditions.
The BLAZO i-TRK is powered across the range by Mahindra’s 7.2-litre mPOWER engine, which produces 320 HP and 1,100 Nm of torque between 1,100 and 1,700 rpm. The engine is supported by TurboMAXX technology and the OptiFuel air compressor, which are designed to reduce power losses and improve fuel efficiency.
A key feature is the AI-powered iFuelSmart automatic drive mode. The system analyses road gradients, vehicle load and driving conditions and automatically selects the appropriate operating mode to support consistent fuel economy. The truck also comes with iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s connected vehicle platform. The system provides fleet owners with information on vehicle health, driver performance, maintenance and operational efficiency. Features include remote AC management, remote vehicle crank inhibit, air-filter alerts, DPF performance alerts, distance-to-empty monitoring and FleetSense reports.
Mahindra is also offering an industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee. Under the programme, eligible customers can receive ₹10,000 per day if the vehicle is not returned to service within the committed 48-hour period. The company has also introduced a Parts Supply Guarantee covering 250 critical parts, subject to applicable terms.
Driver comfort has been addressed through features such as the COMFiMAXX suspended seat, EzyCruise cruise control, an air-conditioned cabin and a Bluetooth-enabled entertainment system with hands-free calling. The BLAZO i-TRK is supported by Mahindra’s Now24x7 mobile application, which enables customers to raise service requests, track breakdown assistance, order spare parts, access service history and schedule appointments.
