Reinforcing its long-standing commitment to purposeful innovation, Locks & Architectural Solutions (LAS) from the Godrej Enterprises Group has rolled out the ninth chapter of its flagship safety initiative, Har Ghar Surakshit. This year’s theme, The Accidental Invitation Initiative, shifts the conversation from physical protection to digital awareness, acknowledging the growing risks linked to online behavior.
The campaign is rooted in a simple yet powerful message: everyday social media posts can unintentionally reveal more than users intend, turning harmless updates into indirect invitations to security threats. To address this, LAS has introduced three key components. The first is the Accidental Invitation Score app, a digital tool that evaluates an individual’s social media activity — with their consent — and generates a personal risk score to highlight how online habits may affect home security. Complementing this is a set of short films depicting relatable oversharing moments that serve as reminders to practice thoughtful online behavior. The initiative also debuts the Neo digital lock series, a new line of smart locking systems with IoT features and multi-access modes starting at ₹8,999.
According to Shyam Motwani, Business Head at LAS, the platform has conducted more than 1.7 lakh home safety assessments so far, including over 21,000 in FY26. He emphasized that Har Ghar Surakshit has consistently combined communication and social responsibility, and the new digital self-check app broadens the scope of safety to match evolving lifestyles. At the same time, the Neo Digital Locks lineup continues to elevate home security with intelligent, future-ready solutions.
Since its introduction in 2018, Har Ghar Surakshit has steadily grown into an awareness movement shaped by behavioral insights and creative storytelling. With year-on-year double-digit growth in home safety audits and a 30% increase in digital safety product adoption last year, the platform has significantly influenced how households approach protection in an increasingly connected world.
Locks & Architectural Solutions, a business under the Godrej Enterprises Group, has played a pivotal role in transforming the Indian locking industry through continuous innovation — from the country’s first locally manufactured digital lock to advanced biometric systems, IoT-enabled locking solutions, and globally patented motion technologies. The brand has also expanded into architectural hardware and systems, marking its evolution into a holistic provider of modern home and architectural security solutions.
