This acquisition marks another key milestone in Air Liquide’s strategic growth journey in India.
Following the successful integration of NovaAir last week, the Group has reached a significant step in strengthening its presence across the country. This expansion completes Air Liquide’s national footprint, enhancing its ability to deliver exceptional service through combined expertise and a diverse, highly skilled talent base. United by a strong culture of intrapreneurship and innovation, Air Liquide continues to advance with a clear ambition to provide best-in-class solutions to its customers.
NovaAir operates as a full-service industrial gases provider across major industrial hubs in East and South India. Established in India since 1992, Air Liquide will leverage this acquisition to broaden its service portfolio and strengthen its nationwide platform in support of critical industrial sectors.
The integration further reinforces Air Liquide’s existing Indian operations, which include industrial and medical gases, engineering and construction, cryogenic manufacturing, and specialty chemical ingredients. Together, Air Liquide and NovaAir will deliver comprehensive solutions to a wide range of industries across India, including steel, automotive, electronics, photovoltaics, and healthcare.
Benoit Renard, Managing Director of Air Liquide India, commented: “We are delighted to welcome the NovaAir teams into the Air Liquide family. This acquisition reflects our long-term commitment to India’s economic development. By expanding our presence in the South and East, we complete our national footprint, enabling us to better serve customers across diverse industries and create meaningful impact with the support of talented professionals.”
