Vikran Engineering Limited (VEL), a fast-growing diversified EPC player, has been awarded a large-scale contract valued at ₹2,035.26 crore by Onix Renewables Limited, a special purpose vehicle, for the implementation of 600 MW (AC) solar power projects across various locations in Maharashtra. The order, formally accepted on December 23, 2025, involves execution on a comprehensive turnkey EPC basis.
Vikran Engineering will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, including system design, detailed engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. The scope also covers the supply of critical equipment such as solar photovoltaic modules and inverters. The projects are scheduled for completion within a 12-month period.

This contract further strengthens Vikran Engineering’s renewable energy portfolio and complements its established operations in power transmission and distribution, water infrastructure, and railway electrification. The win also reinforces the company’s strategy of scaling participation in complex, high-value infrastructure projects while maintaining strong execution discipline.
