Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co, Ltd is strengthening its international expansion strategy through a growing network of localized manufacturing, research, sales, and service operations designed to bring products closer to customers and improve responsiveness across key global markets. The company highlighted the success of this approach during KOMATEK 2026, where it secured more than RMB 1 billion in new and intended orders while showcasing over 40 advanced products tailored to regional customer requirements. The strong market response reflects the effectiveness of Zoomlion’s strategy of combining global innovation with local production and service capabilities.

A key feature of the company’s international expansion is its “1+N” global manufacturing model. Under this framework, Zoomlion Smart City in China serves as the central innovation and technology hub, while a growing network of overseas facilities provides localized manufacturing, customization, and customer support across major international markets.

The strategy enables the company to adapt products to local regulations, operating environments, and customer preferences while improving supply chain efficiency and reducing delivery times. One example is the ZLK7600V803 knuckle boom crane, developed specifically for European markets. The model combines engineering expertise from Zoomlion’s German subsidiary with locally sourced European components and complies fully with regional certification and transportation requirements. The product illustrates how localized development and manufacturing can deliver solutions that meet specific market needs while maintaining global quality standards.

Zoomlion currently operates 13 overseas research and manufacturing bases, more than 30 regional hubs, and over 400 sales and service outlets. Its products and services are available in more than 170 countries and regions worldwide. Turkey has emerged as one of the company’s key strategic markets. Since establishing operations in Istanbul, Zoomlion has built an extensive service network across the country, including multiple branches and logistics facilities that support sales, maintenance, spare parts distribution, and customer service activities.

The company is also expanding its European manufacturing footprint. In Hungary, Zoomlion has commenced operations at a modern aerial work platform facility designed to serve customers across Eastern and Western Europe. In Germany, the company continues to invest in expanding its manufacturing capabilities through a major development program that will significantly increase production capacity for cranes and concrete machinery.

According to the company, localized production and direct customer engagement strengthen operational efficiency, improve product availability, and enhance long-term customer relationships. The approach also supports supply chain resilience by creating stronger links between domestic and international manufacturing operations.

As global infrastructure investment and construction activity continue to grow, Zoomlion remains focused on expanding its international presence through innovation, localized manufacturing, and customer-centric operations. The company believes this strategy will play a central role in supporting sustainable growth while delivering greater value to customers worldwide.
