Workato, a Control and Execution Platform for Enterprise AI, has opened its third AI Collaboration Hub in Hyderabad, creating a dedicated space where customers, technology partners and developers can jointly design and deploy enterprise AI solutions.Located at Aurobindo Orbit in Hyderabad Knowledge City, HITEC City, the new facility is designed to bring Workato engineers, customers, global system integrators and developers together to build production-ready agentic AI applications. The hub combines collaboration areas, workspaces and hands-on development labs, allowing teams to move quickly from ideas to working AI workflows connected to enterprise systems.

The Hyderabad facility joins Workato’s existing AI Collaboration Hubs in San Francisco and Singapore. The company said the expansion reflects its view that successful enterprise AI requires close collaboration between technology providers, customers and implementation partners.

Enterprise AI adoption often faces challenges when solutions need to connect with existing ERP systems, business applications, regulated data and multi-cloud environments. Workato said its Hyderabad hub is focused on addressing these practical requirements by allowing teams to develop, test and deploy AI solutions in real business environments while maintaining security and governance.

India has become an important centre for AI engineering and enterprise technology development. Hyderabad, in particular, has a strong pool of engineers with experience across artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture, software development and data technologies.

Workato established its India operations in 2022 and has since grown its workforce to more than 200 employees across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. The company said India is playing an increasingly important role in its global engineering and AI strategy.

For customers, the new hub is intended to shorten the time between identifying an AI opportunity and deploying a working solution. Teams can work directly with Workato engineers on customer systems and business processes, helping address integration, automation and governance requirements at an early stage. The facility will also support Workato’s global system integrator partners in developing repeatable AI solutions and building enterprise AI capabilities for customers.

Vijay Tella, CEO and Co-founder, Workato, said the company is focused on solving the practical challenges involved in deploying AI within enterprises. He added that Hyderabad provides access to engineering talent capable of working across AI, enterprise systems and governance.

Persistent Systems and Tech Mahindra also highlighted the value of the new facility in supporting joint development of production-ready AI solutions. The companies said the collaborative model can help businesses move faster from AI experimentation to deployment while maintaining enterprise controls. Workato said the Hyderabad AI Collaboration Hub will serve as a centre for co-innovation, bringing customers, partners and engineers together to develop enterprise AI solutions that can operate at scale.

Workato is a Control and Execution Platform for Enterprise AI that connects data, applications and business processes. The company serves more than 14,000 enterprise systems and has worked with organisations including Nasdaq, Amazon, Cisco, Vodafone, Atlassian and Lucid Motors.
