Wipro Limited and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership to accelerate enterprise adoption of Gemini Enterprise and agentic AI. As part of the expanded collaboration, Wipro plans to deploy Gemini Enterprise more widely across its own operations and equip more than 10,000 AI-certified specialists, including 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers, with advanced AI capabilities.
The initiative is designed to improve productivity, simplify business processes and support faster decision-making for Wipro and its customers. Wipro has also introduced the LIFT framework, standing for Launch, Ignite, Flywheel and Transform, to help enterprises move from early AI experimentation to broader deployment.
The framework brings Gemini Enterprise together with Wipro’s AI platforms, WINGS and WEGA, under its wider Wipro Intelligence portfolio. The combined platform is intended to help organisations move beyond individual task automation and introduce AI agents into secure, multi-step business processes.
“AI is foundational to how Wipro is shaping its future, driving innovation, transforming operations, and delivering differentiated value for our clients,” said Kanwar Singh, Managing Partner and Global Head of Technology Services, Wipro Limited. “By strengthening Wipro Intelligence with Gemini Enterprise, we are embedding intelligence into everyday core operations, helping clients scale outcomes, adapt faster, and compete more effectively in a dynamic environment.”
Wipro is building a dedicated team of more than 1,500 certified Forward Deployed Engineers. The team will combine Google Cloud technologies with Wipro’s consulting, engineering and industry capabilities to help customers implement AI across their organisations.
“Our partnership with Wipro continues to drive real-world value for enterprise customers looking to scale AI across their organizations. The strong demand for Gemini Enterprise indicates the value it is adding for customers today,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem, Google Cloud.
Wipro has already deployed Gemini Enterprise as part of its internal AI strategy and is using the platform to develop AI agents for areas including compliance, human resources and sales intelligence. The company is using AI to support complex workflows and provide faster access to information for business decisions.
The partnership also extends into software engineering. Wipro has integrated Google’s Antigravity Command Line Interface into its software development environment. The technology supports developers with activities such as planning, coding, testing and application modernisation.
According to Wipro, the deployment has delivered measurable improvements in software development productivity and helped reduce defects after applications enter production. The expanded partnership reflects Wipro’s focus on making AI a core part of enterprise operations rather than limiting it to isolated projects. Through the LIFT framework and its growing pool of AI-certified specialists, the company aims to help businesses move from pilots to wider AI deployment.
Wipro Limited is an AI-powered technology services and consulting company with more than 240,000 employees and business partners across 65 countries. The company provides digital transformation, consulting, engineering and technology services to customers worldwide.
