Varroc Engineering Limited has announced the launch of the third edition of its flagship innovation initiative, Eureka Challenge 3.0 – Ignite Innovation. The programme is designed to engage engineering students across India in solving real-world challenges within the rapidly evolving mobility sector.

Hosted on the Unstop platform, the competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students, with a particular focus on pre-final-year students graduating in 2027. Participants from disciplines such as computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, information technology, mechanical, and automobile engineering are eligible to apply. The challenge allows both individual participation and team entries of up to four members.

Eureka Challenge 3.0 aims to provide a practical platform for students to apply technical knowledge, develop innovative solutions, and gain exposure to industry-relevant problem statements. The initiative builds on the success of its previous editions, which attracted participation from thousands of students across the country.

The competition will follow a structured, multi-stage evaluation process. Participants are required to select problem statements from the platform and submit their proposed solutions in the form of detailed presentations. An optional simulation video may also be included to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of their ideas. The format encourages creativity and allows participants to submit multiple concepts.

The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry requirements by offering participants an opportunity to engage directly with Varroc’s domain experts. Through this interaction, students gain insights into current industry challenges and emerging trends in mobility and automotive technologies.

Top-performing participants will be recognised with awards, including cash prizes and opportunities for pre-placement offers with the company. The initiative also supports Varroc’s broader talent development efforts, including its graduate engineer training programmes.

Varroc Engineering stated that the challenge reflects its commitment to fostering innovation and building future-ready talent. By encouraging problem-solving and creative thinking, the company aims to contribute to the development of solutions that support safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility systems.

Founded in 1988, Varroc Engineering Limited is a global Tier-1 automotive component group with operations across multiple markets. The company provides a wide range of solutions, including e-mobility systems, lighting, body systems, and advanced electronics, supported by its global manufacturing and research network.
