TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), one of India’s leading integrated supply chain companies, has formed a joint venture with Italy-based ALA Group to establish a specialized aerospace and defence supply chain platform aimed at serving one of the fastest-growing sectors of the Indian economy. Under the agreement, TVS SCS will hold a 51 percent stake in the new entity, while ALA Group will own the remaining 49 percent. The venture is expected to generate cumulative revenues exceeding ₹2,000 crore by 2031 and will initially focus on opportunities within India’s rapidly expanding aerospace and defence ecosystem.
The partnership follows a memorandum of understanding signed earlier this year and comes amid increasing engagement from global aerospace and defence companies seeking to expand their presence in India through localization initiatives, manufacturing investments and strategic collaborations.
The new platform will combine TVS SCS’s extensive domestic logistics network, technology capabilities and operational expertise with ALA Group’s specialized experience in aerospace and defence supply chain management. Together, the partners aim to deliver high-value services including procurement, inventory optimization, kitting, spare parts distribution, fulfilment and mission-critical logistics support.

By combining ALA’s domain expertise with our execution capabilities and digital infrastructure, we are creating a scalable platform that can support the evolving requirements of both domestic and international customers,” he said.

The aerospace and defence supply chain sector is characterized by stringent regulatory requirements, traceability standards and certification protocols, creating demand for highly specialized logistics capabilities. TVS SCS expects the venture to achieve profitability within its first year of operations, supported by the high-value nature of the industry.
