TVS Motor Company has appointed Peyman Kargar as Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 27, 2027. He will succeed KN Radhakrishnan, who will continue as Director and CEO until the transition date and thereafter serve as Non-Executive Director until the company’s ensuing Annual General Meeting in July 2027.The leadership change comes as TVS Motor prepares for its next phase of growth, with a focus on product innovation, premiumisation and expansion in international markets.
Mr Kargar currently serves as President, International Business at TVS Motor and brings more than 30 years of experience in the global automotive industry. His career has included senior leadership responsibilities across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, covering product development, research and development, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing.
Under his leadership, TVS Motor’s international business has become an important part of the company’s global growth strategy. International operations now account for 29% of the company’s sales volume and are growing at 33%. TVS Motor recorded a strong performance in FY2025-26, selling 5.9 million vehicles globally and reporting 30% revenue growth. The company has continued to strengthen its position in India while expanding its presence across international markets.
