Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the all-new Toyota Hilux in India, strengthening its premium SUV and lifestyle vehicle portfolio. Built on Toyota’s proven IMV platform, the ninth-generation Hilux combines rugged performance, advanced technology and everyday comfort, making it suitable for both demanding work environments and adventure driving.
The latest Hilux continues Toyota’s legacy of durability, quality and reliability while offering enhanced styling, improved connectivity and a comprehensive range of safety features. Designed to meet the changing needs of Indian customers, the pickup aims to deliver dependable performance for commercial use, urban mobility and off-road adventures.

The new Hilux features a bold exterior inspired by Toyota’s “Tough & Agile” design philosophy. The front fascia includes a redesigned bumper, LED headlamps with welcome function, LED daytime running lights, LED fog lamps and stylish alloy wheels. Additional features such as electrically adjustable and retractable outside mirrors, LED rear combination lamps and a shark-fin antenna further enhance its premium appearance.
Under the hood, the Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre BS6 Phase 2 diesel engine producing 150 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. An 80-litre fuel tank supports long-distance driving, while Toyota’s renowned four-wheel-drive system with High and Low range modes, Electronic Differential Lock and Downhill Assist Control enables confident performance across challenging terrains.
The cabin has been designed to deliver greater comfort and convenience with soft-touch materials, metallic accents and a spacious layout. Key features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota’s i-Connect connected car technology, wireless charging, cruise control, multiple drive modes, voice recognition, PM2.5 air filtration and an eight-speaker audio system.
Safety remains a key focus with seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS with Brake Assist, Emergency Brake Signal, ISOFIX child seat anchors, tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, panoramic view monitor and Toyota’s Global Outstanding Assessment body structure designed to provide enhanced occupant protection.
