Titomic Limited (ASX: TTT), a global leader in Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ (TKF™) and cold spray additive manufacturing, has officially opened its new European facility in Heerenveen. This marks a major step in the company’s growth strategy, significantly enhancing its capabilities in advanced manufacturing, coatings, and repair solutions across Europe.

The new Heerenveen site is five times larger than Titomic’s existing Akkrum facility, providing a state-of-the-art environment to support large-scale innovation. Equipped with four advanced cold spray booths and a TKF™ system featuring a five-meter build capability, the facility is designed to meet growing demand for sustainable and high-performance manufacturing solutions across industries.

“This opening is a clear reflection of the rising demand for cold spray technologies in Europe,” said Klaas Rozema, President of Titomic EMEA. “With expanded capacity and world-class equipment, we are now positioned to deliver not just cutting-edge systems but also high-performance parts directly to customers across multiple sectors.”

The launch event featured keynote speaker André Kuipers, former astronaut, who highlighted the importance of innovation and global collaboration in advancing aerospace and other high-technology industries. His remarks emphasized the critical role of precision and sustainability in modern manufacturing.

As part of the ceremony, Titomic announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fraunhofer, Europe’s largest applied research organization. This collaboration aims to accelerate research and development in cold spray applications and strengthen Titomic’s innovation ecosystem in Europe.

The Heerenveen facility will serve as a strategic hub for Titomic’s European customers, partners, and research institutions, supporting key industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, and energy. By combining increased production scale with strong partnerships, the company is positioned to drive the next wave of sustainable manufacturing.

“This milestone represents a pivotal chapter for Titomic in Europe,” said Jim Simpson, CEO and Managing Director of Titomic. “We are scaling our operations and deepening collaborations that will shape the future of high-performance manufacturing.”
