Titan Intech Limited, a prominent player in EMS and embedded electronics for OEMs and ODMs, has entered into a long-term technology collaboration with Seoul-headquartered Media Information Communication Co., Ltd (MIC), a leading name in next-generation display solutions. The alliance aims to jointly design and manufacture advanced LED, SMD, MiP, Mini-LED, and LCD display control platforms within India, supporting reduced import dependence and fostering domestic capability in premium display technologies.
Over the next seven years, the companies will invest nearly ₹135 crore (approx. USD 1.53 million) toward knowledge transfer, facility upgrades, and local production of sophisticated display modules and control units.V As part of the agreement, MIC will provide Titan Intech with complete design assets, including hardware, firmware, and licensed software for LED calibration and production workflows. The package covers the mLED Master Suite — Standard, Premium, and 4K — under a seven-year, non-exclusive license valid from 2025 to 2032.
Kumarraju Rudraraju, Managing Director of Titan Intech Limited, remarked, “This initiative marks a major leap toward building India’s self-sufficiency in display technology. By merging Korean expertise with Indian manufacturing strength, we plan to create a strong platform that supports national programs like Make in India, Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat while enabling global exports.”
The collaboration includes joint development of FPGA/SoC-based LED controllers, Android boards for interactive displays, and IP-driven Passenger Information Systems for metros, aviation, and rail networks, extending Titan Intech’s presence in essential infrastructure applications. Titan Intech will hold exclusive manufacturing and commercialization privileges in India and non-exclusive rights for research and development worldwide, enabling the company to market India-designed display products under its TitanView and TitanPro brands internationally.
