Titan Intech to Set Up Integrated Display Electronics Hub in Amaravati Under MoU with APEDB

Manufacturing-News

Titan Intech Limited, a key player in Embedded Manufacturing Services and advanced OEM/ODM electronics, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to develop an Integrated Display Electronics Manufacturing Facility in the Amaravati Capital Region. The initiative is a major push toward strengthening India’s capabilities in next-generation display technologies and high-value electronics manufacturing.

The company plans to invest nearly ₹250 crore in the project, which will be executed in multiple stages. Spread across a 20-acre site earmarked for electronics manufacturing, the upcoming unit is expected to generate about 200 direct jobs and another 300 indirect opportunities through supply-chain, logistics, and support activities.

The project will focus on complete display-related technologies—from controllers to intelligent driver electronics. Titan Intech has also entered into a partnership with a prominent South Korean OEM to support technology transfer, manufacturing optimisation, and alignment with global production benchmarks.

Commenting on the agreement, Rudraraju Kumar Raju, Managing Director of Titan Intech Limited, said:
“This collaboration represents a defining moment for Titan Intech. The Amaravati facility will place us at the centre of advanced display electronics manufacturing in India. With strategic partnerships, government support, and cutting-edge processes, we are laying the foundation for stronger innovation, self-reliance, and export-led growth.”

The upcoming facility is designed to support a wide range of advanced display technologies and components. Its scope includes developing display controllers for LCD, LED, and emerging mini/micro-LED formats, along with integrating powerful 2D and 3D rendering engines and high-performance video-processing units. The unit will also focus on creating ultra-low-latency display and driver electronics that cater to demanding applications across consumer, industrial, and professional segments.

In addition to electronics development, the facility will produce backlight modules for multiple display platforms and operate a dedicated EMS line equipped for assembly, testing, and precise calibration. This end-to-end setup allows the unit to streamline production, enhance quality control, and accelerate time-to-market for next-generation display solutions.

APEDB will support the project through land allocation, incentives, clearances, and ecosystem linkages. In line with the national Atmanirbhar Bharat mission, the facility aims to develop domestic strength in strategic electronics, minimise import dependence, and integrate India more deeply into global supply chains for display technologies. Titan Intech expects the Amaravati plant to attract ancillary industries, research investments, and highly skilled talent over time.
