Titan Intech Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Media Information Communication Co, Ltd (MIC), Seoul, Korea for collaborative development, customization, and technology transfer of next-generation MIP, SMD, and Mini-LED display systems along with Android-based control solutions. The partnership between Titan Intech and MIC Korea focuses on joint research and development of advanced display technologies.
This includes FPGA/SoC-based LED display controllers, Android-based control boards for interactive LCD panels, and IP-driven Passenger Information Systems (PIS) for railways, metros, and airports. The collaboration also targets specialized applications in the automotive, defense, and transportation sectors, delivering smart dashboards, ruggedized visual systems, and command-and-control displays.
A key element of the agreement is technology transfer from MIC Korea to Titan Intech. This transfer will include complete design documentation, hardware and firmware packages, and software licenses. These resources will allow Titan Intech to carry out local manufacturing and research and development in India, building domestic capability in advanced display solutions.
Under the MoU, Titan Intech has been granted a seven-year, non-exclusive software license (2025–2032) for the mLED Master Suite. This includes Standard, Premium, and 4K versions, which cover display control, production calibration, and AI-based diagnostics. The license enables Titan Intech to integrate these systems into local production and system deployment.
The investment for this collaboration is valued at USD 1.53 million. This covers technology development, workforce training, and the handover of deliverables, providing a foundation for sustained application of the technology across multiple industry segments in India.
Titan Intech also secures non-exclusive manufacturing and commercialization rights within India, along with global non-exclusive R&D rights. These provisions allow the company to explore export opportunities and participate in international collaborations, strengthening India’s presence in advanced display technology markets.
Strategically, this collaboration positions Titan Intech as a front-runner in India’s professional display and control-system sector. By localizing R&D, design, and manufacturing, the partnership enables the creation of the country’s first indigenous LED/LCD display-control ecosystem.
The agreement opens up significant market opportunities in the automotive sector, including smart dashboards, infotainment units, and driver-assistance displays. It also serves the transportation and infrastructure domain through Passenger Information Systems for railways, metro networks, and airports.
In addition, the partnership supports education and enterprise applications, including interactive learning boards, digital classrooms, and enterprise video conferencing solutions. Titan Intech’s solutions also extend to home entertainment and virtual production, with Mini-LED-based home theatre displays, AR/VR broadcasting, and studio-grade backdrops.
Finally, the technology finds applications in eSports and gaming, offering ultra-high refresh and low-latency displays, as well as control rooms and smart city systems, providing integrated visualization platforms for utilities, traffic management, and defense command networks.
The initiative supports “Make in India,” “Digital India,” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, promoting local R&D, IP creation, and advanced electronics manufacturing jobs. By localizing LED drivers, video processors, and control modules, Titan Intech aims to reduce import dependency, boost exports, and strengthen India’s strategic electronics sector. The company expects robust market adoption, with opportunities in OEM partnerships, technology licensing, and smart infrastructure deployment across India.
