Telawne Power Equipments brought together more than 60 energy consultants and power sector professionals at its Consultant Meet 2026 in Bengaluru to discuss emerging requirements in power distribution, transformer technology and grid reliability. Held at The Chancery Pavilion, the industry gathering included members of the Electrical Consultants Association of India (ELCA) and professionals from across the electrical engineering sector. The event provided a platform for technical discussions, knowledge sharing and closer engagement between Telawne and consultants involved in major power infrastructure projects.
A key focus of the event was the growing role of digital technology in modern power networks. Telawne showcased its latest range of IoT-enabled smart transformers, which are designed to provide real-time information on equipment performance and support predictive maintenance. The smart transformer technology enables operators to monitor operating conditions and identify potential issues before they result in equipment failure. This can help reduce unplanned downtime, improve maintenance planning and increase the reliability of critical electrical infrastructure.
The technology is also designed to support the changing needs of power systems as renewable energy becomes a larger part of the electricity mix. Better monitoring and operational visibility can help businesses manage power assets more efficiently while adapting to changing grid requirements.
“Modernising energy infrastructure requires pairing engineering excellence with digital intelligence,” said Aboli Telawne, Director, Telawne Power Equipments. “By collaborating directly with industry consultants, we are co-creating a smarter, more resilient power ecosystem.”
The technical discussions at the meet covered changing project requirements, transformer applications, reliability, technology developments and the need for efficient and future-ready power solutions. The event also gave Telawne an opportunity to present its engineering capabilities and product portfolio to professionals who play an important role in the planning and execution of power infrastructure projects. The strong participation from consultants and electrical engineering professionals highlighted the importance of collaboration between manufacturers and industry experts as power infrastructure becomes more connected and technology-driven.
