Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) has unveiled TATA.CARS, its new consumer-facing global brand identity, with the promise “Nothing’s Too Far.” The new identity brings the company’s passenger vehicle portfolio under one unified brand and reflects its plans for the next phase of mobility.

The new brand is built around the idea that mobility should help people travel further, pursue their ambitions and explore new opportunities. It brings together the trust of more than seven million customers and the company’s progress across safety, electric mobility, SUVs, connected technology and vehicle design.

Announcing the new identity, Shailesh Chandra, MD & CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, said the company has grown alongside India’s aspirations and has consistently worked to make new technology and mobility more accessible. “Today, we proudly introduce TATA.CARS. More than a new brand identity, it is a declaration of intent for the future we envision. Anchored in the promise, ‘Nothing’s Too Far’, it conveys our belief that mobility should open doors, embrace possibilities and empower people to get closer to what matters most to them,” Chandra said.

TATA.CARS is designed as a single master brand covering hatchbacks, sedans, premium SUVs, electric vehicles and future mobility solutions. The company said the name reflects how customers have traditionally referred to its products as a “Tata car”. The new identity includes a visual and audio system built around Parallel Pathways, inspired by the geometry of the Tata “T” and road markings. The design represents different journeys moving in the same direction towards progress.

Other elements include Ambition Blue, a new interpretation of Tata’s traditional blue; Parallel Display, a bespoke typeface; and a new sonic identity. The TATA.CARS identity will be introduced across consumer-facing platforms, including digital channels, retail outlets, service centres and brand communications. The company aims to provide customers with a consistent experience across vehicle discovery, purchase, ownership and future mobility services.

The new brand does not change the company’s legal structure. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd will continue to be the legal entity for statutory, regulatory and investor communications. The Tata Motors ellipse on vehicles will also remain unchanged, along with individual product brands. The company said its focus on safety, quality, engineering and innovation will continue under the new identity.

Part of the USD 180 billion Tata Group, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is one of India’s leading car and SUV manufacturers. Its portfolio includes vehicles across multiple powertrains, connected technologies and electric mobility. The company is also expanding its work in zero-emission and future mobility solutions, supported by its design and research capabilities.

The launch of TATA.CARS marks a new expression of the company’s passenger vehicle business while retaining the Tata name and the customer trust built over decades. The “Nothing’s Too Far” promise is intended to reflect the company’s aim of helping customers move towards new possibilities through products, services and mobility solutions.
