Tata Consultancy Services, a global leader in IT services and consulting, has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud by adopting its latest AI platform, Gemini Enterprise. This move is part of TCS’ broader effort to integrate next-generation artificial intelligence into its operations and client solutions, with the goal of reshaping how humans and intelligent systems work together.
Gemini Enterprise will allow TCS teams to build and deploy custom AI agents, integrate pre-built agents from Google Cloud, and connect third-party agents for complex workflow automation. The platform’s agent orchestration and agent-to-agent communication features are designed to simplify operations across various industries and support scalable AI implementation across large enterprises.
This collaboration supports the tcsAI initiative, aimed at equipping TCS’ global workforce with tools to rapidly design and deliver AI-powered solutions. The Gemini platform, fully integrated with Google Cloud infrastructure and tools like BigQuery, enhances data access, operational efficiency, and innovation. BigQuery is already powering key TCS internal systems, making the integration smoother and faster.
Aarthi Subramanian, Executive Director and COO of TCS, said, “Our vision is to empower employees and clients through intelligent technology. By integrating Gemini Enterprise, we’re enhancing our own capabilities and fast-tracking innovation for customers across sectors. This partnership marks another milestone in our AI journey with Google Cloud.”
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, added, “AI is changing the role of service providers. Gemini Enterprise offers a unified platform for companies like TCS to boost productivity and deliver high-impact business outcomes. Together, we aim to help global clients build AI-powered industry solutions faster and at scale.”
TCS and Google Cloud are also collaborating on the development of industry-specific AI agents, tailored for sectors including banking, retail, manufacturing, and communications. These solutions are being co-developed at five Gemini Experience Centres located across key global markets, further strengthening joint efforts in cloud and AI innovation.
