Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed two Memorandums of Understanding with Siemens Energy AG and Siemens Energy India Limited to expand their long-standing relationship across IT services, industrial artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, data centres and next-generation energy technologies. The agreements are aimed at accelerating AI-led industrial transformation, strengthening operational resilience and supporting sustainable growth in the global energy sector. By combining TCS’ strengths in AI, data analytics and engineering with Siemens Energy’s expertise in power generation, electrification and grid technologies, the partnership will focus on creating smarter operations and future-ready infrastructure.

As part of the collaboration, Siemens Energy India Limited will support TCS’ HyperVault business to meet the rising and increasingly complex power requirements of AI-ready data centres in India. The initiative is expected to address growing demand for reliable and energy-efficient infrastructure as AI adoption expands across industries.

Under the IT services agreement, TCS will continue as a preferred technology partner for Siemens Energy AG. The company will help enhance the group’s digital backbone with a focus on agility, cybersecurity, resilience and cost efficiency. The engagement will also target operational improvements and continuous modernisation of core systems.

The partnership will also cover factory modernisation and industrial AI. Siemens Energy AG is expected to benefit from TCS capabilities in digital twins, predictive analytics, intelligent manufacturing, advanced vision systems and closer integration between operational technology and information technology. These solutions are intended to improve productivity, decision-making and manufacturing performance across global operations.

Christian Bruch, President and CEO of Siemens Energy AG, said the partnership with TCS will help transform digital infrastructure innovation into scalable business impact. He noted that TCS brings deep expertise in AI, cloud and large engineering programmes, while India remains an important market in supporting Siemens Energy’s global growth ambitions.

K Krithivasan, Managing Director and CEO of TCS, said energy and industrial companies are at a defining moment where competitiveness will depend on how effectively they modernise technology platforms and scale AI across operations. He added that the partnership combines industry knowledge with TCS capabilities in AI, engineering and data to create intelligent operations ranging from smart factories to connected enterprises.

Guilherme Mendonca, Managing Director and CEO of Siemens Energy India Limited, said the collaboration brings together expertise in energy systems and digital intelligence to build dependable, low-carbon power infrastructure for the next generation of AI-driven data centres.

The latest agreements build on a relationship spanning more than two decades between TCS and Siemens Energy. TCS said it will help Siemens Energy move from AI pilots to enterprise-wide deployment through advanced analytics, generative AI and automation integrated into business and operational processes.

With continued investment in digital engineering, global talent and innovation ecosystems, the partnership is expected to deliver faster transformation, stronger resilience and new growth opportunities. It also reflects the increasing convergence of AI, industrial technology and sustainable energy systems in shaping the future of global infrastructure.
