Sunita Tools Limited has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in the United States named Sunita Defence Inc, registered in Wyoming. The move represents an important step in the company’s strategy to expand its presence in international defence and aerospace markets while strengthening its engagement with customers across North America.
The newly established subsidiary will focus on bidding, quoting, and supplying defence products developed by Sunita Tools Limited to various organisations in the United States. In addition to facilitating product sales, the subsidiary will also evaluate strategic acquisition opportunities in the aerospace, defence, and engineering sectors.
Sunita Defence Inc will be led by Abheshek Satish Pandey, who has been appointed President of the subsidiary. Mr Pandey brings a multidisciplinary background combining engineering expertise and business analytics experience. He holds a degree in Aerospace, Space and Astronautics Engineering from the United Kingdom and later completed a master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics in the United States.
With both technical and business training, Mr Pandey is expected to play a key role in introducing the company’s defence product portfolio to major American organisations. His experience is also expected to support the identification of potential acquisition targets that align with the company’s long-term strategic goals in aerospace and defence manufacturing. His remuneration structure has been designed to commence once revenue generation begins within the subsidiary.
Commenting on the development, Sanjay Pandey, Chairman and Whole-Time Director of Sunita Tools Limited, said the establishment of the US subsidiary marks a significant milestone in the company’s international growth plans. He noted that the subsidiary will enable the company to respond more effectively to inquiries and demand from U.S. customers, particularly for defence products such as the 155mm M107 artillery shells, which have recently attracted strong interest from overseas markets. In addition to supporting product supply, the subsidiary will also explore acquisition opportunities that can strengthen the company’s capabilities in aerospace, defence, and advanced engineering.
Mr Pandey added that appointing a qualified and experienced leader such as Abheshek Pandey to head the subsidiary provides the company with strong representation in the North American market. The company believes that this combination of technical knowledge, strategic leadership, and international exposure will support its efforts to establish a successful presence in the region.
Sunita Tools Limited brings more than 37 years of experience in engineering and mould base manufacturing. The company specializes in the production of ground plates, mould bases, and precision CNC machining components used across a wide range of industrial sectors.
