Siemens AG is set to present a range of advanced digital technologies at Hannover Messe 2026, highlighting how industrial artificial intelligence is reshaping manufacturing and strengthening Europe’s industrial competitiveness. Against a backdrop of labour shortages, resource constraints, and increasingly complex global markets, the company is demonstrating how AI-driven solutions and digital twin technologies are improving productivity, accelerating innovation, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Roland Busch, President and CEO of Siemens AG, said industrial AI is expected to play a defining role in determining future industrial leadership. He noted that Siemens is developing an industrial AI framework designed to integrate intelligence across the entire value chain, from product design and engineering to production and operations, enabling businesses to operate with greater speed, flexibility, and resilience.
At its exhibition space, Siemens is presenting new developments in industrial AI, robotics, and digital supply chain management. The company is also demonstrating how connected systems can improve transparency and reliability across logistics and manufacturing networks. A key focus area this year is the consumer goods sector, where Siemens is showcasing how digitalisation and AI can streamline production processes and accelerate product launches. Real-world applications highlight how companies such as PepsiCo can integrate product development, manufacturing, and supply chain data to create more efficient and responsive operations.
A major attraction at the event is a modular “pop-up factory” concept that can be rapidly deployed and adapted to local demand using simulation tools and AI-based decision-making. Visitors are also offered a glimpse into next-generation manufacturing at the Innovation Hub, where AI-driven systems enable highly automated production environments. Demonstrations include customised manufacturing processes coordinated through intelligent software, with robotics and autonomous systems managing production and logistics.
Energy infrastructure for data centres is another focus area, as rising digital demand increases power consumption. Siemens is presenting solutions for direct current power grids that support higher efficiency and enable integration of renewable energy sources. The company is also introducing a semiconductor-based system designed to enhance the safety and performance of these grids.
