Siemens has unveiled a series of new technologies and strategic collaborations aimed at accelerating the adoption of industrial artificial intelligence, as part of its RXD Summit in Beijing. The event brought together over 2,000 customers, partners, developers, and industry leaders to explore how AI is being deployed at scale across manufacturing, infrastructure, and supply chains.

During the opening keynote, Siemens President and CEO Roland Busch highlighted the need for an integrated approach to bring AI into real-world industrial environments. He emphasized the importance of a unified technology framework that connects data, software, and hardware to enable practical, large-scale AI implementation.

As part of this vision, Siemens introduced 26 new products designed to strengthen its industrial AI ecosystem. The company also expanded its collaboration with Alibaba, combining global engineering expertise with China’s rapidly evolving digital and industrial landscape.

A key focus of the partnership is to enhance access to advanced engineering tools. Siemens and Alibaba Cloud are working together to deliver cloud-based computer-aided engineering capabilities, enabling businesses to run complex simulations using scalable computing infrastructure. This approach allows organizations to improve efficiency while reducing the need for on-premise resources.

The collaboration also explores the integration of advanced language models into Siemens’ product lifecycle management systems, enabling more intelligent and automated engineering workflows. In parallel, Siemens presented new technologies supporting the infrastructure behind the AI economy. These include solutions for industrial connectivity, data integration, and system protection for high-performance computing environments such as data centers. New developments in power distribution and AI-driven cooling systems aim to improve efficiency and reliability in energy-intensive operations.

To strengthen manufacturing capabilities, Siemens introduced advancements in automation and edge computing. New programmable logic controllers and motion systems are designed to enhance precision and real-time coordination on factory floors. AI-powered applications, including predictive maintenance tools, further enable businesses to reduce downtime and improve operational performance. Through these initiatives, Siemens is reinforcing its commitment to making industrial AI more accessible and scalable, helping organizations transition from experimentation to real-world deployment.
