Royal Jordanian Airlines has selected Ramco Systems’ next-generation Aviation Software to modernise its maintenance and engineering operations as the national carrier expands its fleet and international network. The agreement will provide Royal Jordanian with a unified platform covering engineering and CAMO, line, hangar and shop maintenance, supply chain management, safety, quality and compliance, MRO and parts sales. The deployment is aimed at improving operational efficiency, fleet reliability and regulatory compliance while providing greater visibility across technical operations.

Ramco’s software will bring multiple maintenance and engineering functions onto a single digital platform, supported by centralised technical documentation and audit-ready reporting. The airline will also use digital task cards, mobile applications and operational dashboards to improve real-time decision-making and support paperless workflows. The solution will integrate with Royal Jordanian’s existing IT systems, enabling the flow of data across functions and reducing reliance on fragmented operational processes.

Samer Majali, Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, said digital transformation is central to the airline’s growth plans. As the carrier continues to modernise its fleet and expand its network, technology investments will play an important role in improving efficiency, operational performance and safety standards.

Sandesh Bilagi, CEO of Ramco Systems, said the selection demonstrates Royal Jordanian’s confidence in Ramco’s aviation technology and industry expertise. He added that the platform will help simplify maintenance and engineering activities while supporting the airline’s ability to operate efficiently as it grows.

Ramco Aviation Software is currently used by more than 24,000 users to manage over 4,000 aircraft globally. The platform has been adopted by more than 90 aviation organisations, including airlines, MRO providers, helicopter operators, defence companies and urban air mobility businesses.

The cloud-based platform includes mobile access through Ramco’s Anywhere Apps, digital task cards, offline maintenance capabilities, dashboards and conversational tools. Ramco is also incorporating artificial intelligence and automation into its aviation solutions to support faster decision-making and improve operational resilience.

Founded in 1963, Royal Jordanian is headquartered in Amman and operates a fleet comprising Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliners, Airbus A320neo family aircraft and Embraer E2 aircraft. From its hub at Queen Alia International Airport, the airline serves more than 55 destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and North America, with access to nearly 900 destinations through the oneworld alliance.
