Gonvarri Material Handling (GMH), the global intralogistics group behind the Dexion and Constructor brands, and RINAC India Limited have established a joint venture in India, Constructor RINAC Pvt Ltd, to deliver advanced warehouse storage and intralogistics solutions for the country’s expanding logistics and warehousing market. The partnership combines GMH’s European engineering expertise, system knowledge and intralogistics portfolio with RINAC’s local market experience, project execution capabilities and established customer relationships. The joint venture will provide solutions for both cold and non-cold applications, with a focus on efficient project delivery, structured implementation and reliable after-sales support.
The collaboration has evolved from RINAC’s earlier role as an authorised distributor of GMH storage solutions in India. Through that relationship, RINAC incorporated pallet racking systems and semi-automated solutions into its portfolio, complementing its existing capabilities in cold chain infrastructure and clean modular construction.
Joint customer projects, technical cooperation and regular engagement between the management teams of RINAC, Gonvarri Industries and Gonvarri Material Handling strengthened the relationship and created a foundation for the new venture. The companies aligned their approaches to customer requirements, solution design, project execution and the long-term development of the Indian market.
India’s intralogistics and warehousing sector is expanding on the back of growth in e-commerce, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and infrastructure investment. Increasing land costs are also driving demand for space-efficient warehouse designs that maximise storage density and floor utilisation.
Constructor RINAC Pvt Ltd will offer conventional pallet racking, high-density storage systems and semi-automated and automated solutions. Its portfolio includes rack-clad buildings, mobile racking systems including MOVO, pallet shuttle systems and the P90 pallet racking range.
The solutions will serve industries including food and beverage, cold storage and deep-freeze logistics, e-commerce, automotive, solar module storage, textiles and apparel, pharmaceuticals, defence and industrial manufacturing. The joint venture will also address demanding temperature-controlled environments, with solutions focused on durability, corrosion resistance and long-term operational reliability.
Sergio Rodríguez Cuesta, Chief Executive Officer of Gonvarri Material Handling, said the joint venture represents an important milestone in the company’s global growth strategy and will strengthen GMH’s presence in India by combining European engineering principles with local customer proximity.
PV Balasubramanian, Managing Director of RINAC India Limited, said the collaboration brings together global engineering standards and local expertise, providing customers with integrated solutions, clear project structures and systems designed for Indian operating conditions.
Parakkel Sukumaran, Joint Managing Director of RINAC India Limited, said the partnership will strengthen RINAC’s ability to provide integrated solutions across cold chain and industrial warehousing projects while building on established customer relationships.
In its initial phase, Constructor RINAC Pvt Ltd will focus on serving the existing customer bases of both companies while expanding market presence and brand visibility. For customers familiar with the Dexion brand, the transition will retain established engineering and technical standards under the Constructor brand, supported by an integrated project and service model aligned with GMH’s global benchmarks.
