Schneider Electric has introduced Unica X, a new premium range of stainless-steel switches and sockets designed for luxury residential, hospitality and commercial spaces. The collection will be launched across India, the Gulf region, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand, strengthening the company’s portfolio of premium electrical solutions for modern buildings.
Designed to meet the growing demand for stylish and high-performance electrical accessories, the Unica X range combines contemporary design with advanced engineering. The new collection is aimed at homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers and hospitality projects seeking products that deliver both aesthetics and long-term reliability.
Unica X features an ultra-slim visible profile of just 6.5 mm with a precision-engineered 2 mm stainless-steel cover plate, offering a clean and modern appearance. The range is available in six premium colours—Brushed Stainless Steel, Painted White, Jet Black, Dark Grey, Dark Bronze and Antique Brass—along with three finish options: Metallic, Ceramic and Antique Brush. These options allow customers to match electrical fittings with a wide variety of interior design styles.
Manufactured using CNC-machined metal trims and advanced colouring processes, the products are designed to provide a premium finish while maintaining durability for everyday use. The portfolio includes switches, sockets, USB charging solutions, dimmers, communication modules, hotel-specific applications and a wide range of accessories, making it suitable for residential developments as well as commercial and hospitality projects.
Schneider Electric said the products have been developed to meet international IEC and BS standards, ensuring dependable performance over extended periods. The switches have been tested for more than 20,000 operations, while the sockets have undergone testing for over 18,000 insertions, demonstrating their durability under regular usage.
With the launch of Unica X, Schneider Electric continues to strengthen its presence in the premium electrical solutions market by offering products that combine elegant design with reliable performance. The company said the new range reflects changing customer preferences for electrical accessories that complement modern architecture while delivering high levels of safety and functionality.
