NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business and technology services, has announced the global expansion of its AI Factories, specialised environments that enable organisations to assess how priority AI applications can be deployed, secured, governed and operated at scale. The facilities allow business and technology leaders to evaluate AI workloads against practical requirements, including infrastructure architecture, performance, workload placement and cost.
Enterprise leaders increasingly seek greater clarity on the performance and business value of AI before committing to larger investments. However, the transition from pilot projects to production deployment often faces challenges involving infrastructure limitations, governance, security and uncertainty over operational costs. NTT DATA’s AI Factories address these concerns by combining its full-stack AI capabilities with technologies from leading ecosystem partners, including Cisco and NVIDIA.
The facilities demonstrate applications across employee productivity, customer experience, intelligent operations, cybersecurity, networking, software development and industry-specific business processes. Client engagements include discovery workshops, technical deep dives, proof-of-concept planning and solution design. The environments are supported by technologies from NTT DATA’s partner ecosystem, including Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, which provides a secure and scalable infrastructure foundation for enterprise AI.
“AI at scale is ultimately about turning intelligence into measurable business impact,” said Dilip Kumar, President, Technology Solutions, NTT DATA, Inc. He added that organisations need to balance innovation with responsibility while identifying where AI can deliver value and how it can be deployed sustainably and economically. The AI Factories are designed to help clients make informed decisions before scaling their investments.
NTT DATA launched new AI Factories in Paris and Singapore this month. These locations join the company’s inaugural facility in Plano, Texas, and its AI Factory in Riyadh. The four facilities complement the NTT DATA AI Factory Munich, inaugurated on October 7 at NTT Global Data Centers’ Munich 2 data centre. The Munich facility enables organisations to test their own AI systems and use cases in a production-grade environment before making investment decisions. Together, the facilities create a connected global network of expertise and capabilities to support organisations in moving AI strategies into production.
Cassie Roach, Global Vice President, AI Infrastructure & Connectivity Partner Sales, Cisco, said that enterprises require secure and resilient infrastructure spanning security, performance and operations, while retaining control over data and AI economics. She noted that Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, together with NTT DATA’s global expertise, provides a foundation for moving AI workloads into production.
Chris Barnard, Vice President, Networking and Infrastructure Services, IDC, highlighted the importance of integrating infrastructure, data, security and operations with effective governance to achieve measurable business outcomes. NTT DATA is a business and technology services provider with annual revenue exceeding $30 billion, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
