Pune will host one of the most significant gatherings of manufacturing and engineering professionals this year as Metal Forming Expo (MFE) and India Fastener Show (IFS) 2026 take place from 9–11 April 2026 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi. The events are part of India Production Technology Week (IPTW), an industry platform designed to spotlight the technologies and collaborations shaping the future of manufacturing.
Organised by Future Market Events, the exhibitions are expected to feature over 650 exhibitors and attract more than 50,000 visitors, including manufacturers, engineers, procurement professionals, technology providers, and industry decision-makers from across India and overseas. India Production Technology Week will bring together six focused trade shows, each dedicated to a critical segment of industrial production. These include metal forming, machine tools and cutting technologies, welding systems, fastening solutions, industrial lubricants, and digital manufacturing platforms powered by artificial intelligence. By presenting these sectors under one umbrella, the event aims to provide a comprehensive view of modern production technologies and their role in strengthening India’s manufacturing capabilities.
The exhibitions will showcase a wide range of advanced equipment and solutions used across modern factories. Visitors will encounter technologies such as CNC machining systems, robotics and industrial automation, sheet metal processing equipment, precision metal forming technologies, metrology and inspection systems, welding and stamping equipment, additive manufacturing and 3D printing solutions, fasteners and fixing technologies, and digital software platforms designed for smart manufacturing environments.
A defining aspect of the event will be the live operation of machinery and production systems across the exhibition halls. Instead of static displays, exhibitors will run equipment in real time, allowing visitors to observe how technologies perform during actual manufacturing processes. Engineers and plant managers attending the event will therefore have the opportunity to assess productivity, efficiency, and integration potential before making investment decisions.
In addition to the exhibition, the programme will include a two-day conference scheduled for 9 and 10 April, bringing together industry leaders, technologists, and manufacturing specialists. These sessions will explore the transformation underway across the industrial sector, particularly the integration of digital technologies with traditional engineering processes.
According to Anuj Mathur, Managing Director of Future Market Events, the initiative is intended to create a collaborative environment for the manufacturing community. “India Production Technology Week provides a platform where manufacturers, technology developers, and industry stakeholders can interact directly,” he said. “By bringing together companies from across the production ecosystem, we hope to encourage partnerships, exchange of knowledge, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. Pune will host these conversations in April 2026.”
The conference agenda will examine several key themes affecting the sector, including Industry 4.0 implementation, automation strategies for small and medium enterprises, and the development of resilient and competitive manufacturing supply chains. Open House sessions and structured networking programmes will run alongside the exhibitions, creating opportunities for buyers and suppliers to meet and discuss potential collaborations.
India Production Technology Week has received backing from several leading industry organisations, highlighting strong participation from across the manufacturing community. Supporting associations include the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Society of Automotive Engineers India, SME Chamber of India, Deccan Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, and the All India Association of Industries, among others.
These partnerships represent companies operating across multiple sectors and scales—from large original equipment manufacturers to micro, small, and medium enterprises. Organisers are also engaging with government departments and relevant ministries to encourage discussion between policymakers and industry participants during the event.
Pune’s reputation as a major engineering and industrial centre makes it an appropriate host city. The region is home to numerous automotive manufacturers, precision engineering firms, defence production facilities, and a large base of MSMEs. The Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Moshi provides the infrastructure required to host exhibitions of this scale.
The event will also feature participation from a broad range of technology providers and manufacturing companies, including Antiphon, Pro-Arc Welding & Cutting Systems, Hindustan Hydraulics Pvt Ltd, Laser Technologies, Fledon, WELDOR CNC Machines Limited, Energy Mission, Infused Systems, Mtech Laser, Rajesh Global, Hitech Mehta, CADCAM, Proteck Machinery Pvt Ltd, Atandra Energy, Suresh Indu Laser, Sahajanand Laser Technology Limited, Alliance Automation Systems Pvt. Ltd., Geekay Wires Limited, Tanishq Precision Fasteners LLP, Mita Fasteners Pvt Ltd, Mohindra Fasteners Limited, Fastwell Products Private Limited, Sensovision Systems Pvt Ltd, Corundum Coating Innovations Private Limited, Fischer Measurement Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd, Tightwell Forgings Limited, Sunshine Fasteners Pvt Ltd, Varad Automation & Robotics Pvt Ltd, among many others.
Together, these companies will present the technologies, equipment, and expertise shaping the next phase of India’s manufacturing growth. With thousands of professionals expected to attend, Metal Forming Expo and India Fastener Show 2026 are set to become a key meeting point for the country’s production technology sector.
