Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, has launched the BLAZO i-TRK, a new heavy commercial vehicle designed to help fleet owners increase earnings, improve productivity, reduce operating costs and manage their businesses more efficiently. The company has positioned the BLAZO i-TRK around three key promises — Earn More, Run More and Control More. The truck offers up to 10% better fuel efficiency and has the potential to generate up to ₹15 lakh in additional profit per truck over five years, subject to operating conditions.
The BLAZO i-TRK features Mahindra’s AI-enabled iFuelSmart Auto Drive mode, designed to improve fuel economy. It is powered across the range by Mahindra’s 320 HP mPOWER engine and comes with technologies such as the TurboMAXX turbocharger and OptiFuel air compressor.
The truck also comes with an industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee. Under the programme, customers are eligible for ₹10,000 per day if the vehicle is not returned to service within the committed 48-hour period, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Mahindra is supporting the uptime commitment with its service network and Quick Service Points located within 75 km on National Highways and 50 km on State Highways. Its Parts Supply Guarantee covers 250 critical parts across the dealer network. Eligible customers can receive the respective part free of cost if it is not supplied within the committed 24-hour period.
The BLAZO i-TRK is equipped with iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s connected vehicle platform. The system provides real-time vehicle information, predictive diagnostics, driver behaviour monitoring, service management and business insights through desktop and mobile interfaces.
Fleet owners can also use the Now24x7 mobile app to raise and track breakdown requests, monitor breakdown vehicle locations, approve repair orders, order spare parts, check service history and schedule appointments. Mahindra is offering customised six-year/six-lakh-km and eight-year/eight-lakh-km mCARE Annual Maintenance Contracts and extended warranty plans for eligible applications. Tipper customers can also choose extended warranty options based on engine operating hours.
Vinod Sahay, President – Trucks & Buses, Executive Chairman – SML Mahindra and Member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra Group, said the freight and logistics sector is entering a phase where technology, reliability and efficiency will play a larger role. He said the BLAZO i-TRK has been developed as a complete business solution and has the potential to increase profits by up to ₹15 lakh per truck over five years.
The truck follows Mahindra’s INTELLICORE design approach, with a wide grille, large headlamps and a driver-focused cabin. It will be available in three colours across different variants and applications. Founded in 1945, the Mahindra Group is a global business group with around 3,24,000 employees across more than 100 countries. The group has a strong presence in farm equipment, utility vehicles, information technology and financial services in India, and is the world’s largest tractor company by volume.
