Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured an ultra-mega offshore contract from ADNOC Offshore for the development of major offshore infrastructure in the Middle East. The project has been awarded to L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), which will execute the contract as the lead partner in a consortium.
The latest order reinforces L&T’s long-standing presence in the Middle East energy sector and highlights its capabilities in delivering large and technically complex offshore oil and gas projects. The contract further strengthens the company’s position as a leading engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contractor for the global offshore energy industry.
Under the scope of the project, LTEH Offshore will be responsible for executing the majority of the work, including engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of multiple offshore facilities. The contract also includes the upgrade of existing offshore infrastructure, supporting ADNOC Offshore’s efforts to enhance production efficiency and strengthen its offshore operations.
A significant portion of the fabrication work for the project will be carried out at L&T’s advanced fabrication facilities in India. The company’s integrated manufacturing capabilities, combined with its engineering expertise and project execution experience, are expected to play a key role in delivering the project within the required timelines and quality standards.
L&T said the project will leverage its comprehensive EPCIC capabilities, which include in-house engineering, modern fabrication yards and a dedicated fleet of marine vessels. These resources enable the company to undertake large offshore developments from concept to commissioning while maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Commenting on the order, SN Subrahmanyan, Chairman and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro, said the award reflects the confidence that ADNOC Offshore has placed in the company’s engineering expertise and execution capabilities. He added that L&T remains committed to supporting the UAE’s energy sector by delivering reliable, innovative and sustainable offshore infrastructure projects.
LTEH Offshore has built a strong reputation over the past four decades by delivering a wide range of offshore oil and gas developments across global markets. The business has successfully completed numerous shallow-water and deep-water projects, including fixed offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, subsea structures, brownfield upgrades and offshore decommissioning assignments.
The company is recognised for its ability to execute challenging offshore projects through an integrated approach that combines engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning under one platform. Its extensive experience has enabled it to support several leading energy companies in expanding and modernising offshore production facilities.
The latest contract from ADNOC Offshore adds to L&T’s growing international order book and further strengthens its presence in one of the world’s most active energy markets. The project is also expected to generate significant work for L&T’s manufacturing facilities and offshore engineering teams while contributing to the company’s long-term growth in the hydrocarbon sector.
With energy demand continuing to grow across global markets, L&T remains focused on delivering advanced offshore solutions that combine engineering excellence, operational efficiency and sustainable project execution. The new ADNOC Offshore project marks another important milestone in the company’s partnership with the Middle East’s energy industry and reinforces its position as a trusted global EPCIC contractor.
