Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a major contract for a large-scale housing redevelopment project in Mumbai, further strengthening its presence in the urban infrastructure and residential construction sector. The project has been awarded to the company’s Residential, Commercial Buildings & Factories (RCF) business vertical by a reputed client.
The contract involves the design and construction of 26 high-rise residential towers, each rising up to 120 metres. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and includes structural construction, architectural finishing works and complete electromechanical services.
The redevelopment project is expected to contribute significantly to Mumbai’s modern housing infrastructure by replacing older residential structures with contemporary high-rise buildings equipped with modern amenities and quality construction standards.
