Laser Technologies Partners With Han’s Laser Smart Equipment for AMTEX 2026

Laser Technologies and Han's Laser at AMTEX 2026

India’s manufacturing sector is in the middle of a broader shift toward automation and precision machining, and Laser Technologies Pvt Ltd is expanding its reach in one corner of it: structural steel and heavy fabrication, a segment with plenty of room to grow in laser adoption. The company has tied up with Han’s Laser Smart Equipment Group Co Ltd, part of the Shenzhen-listed Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group, and is introducing the partnership at AMTEX 2026, running July 24 to 27 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Laser Technologies has spent over a decade building a name in India’s laser industry. Founded in 2011 by Rakesh Agarwal, the company represents a range of global laser manufacturers out of its Navi Mumbai base, with a sales and service network that reaches Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. Han’s Laser, for its part, has been manufacturing industrial laser equipment since 1996 and counts itself among the larger players in the Chinese laser industry.

The new partnership brings three product categories into Laser Technologies’ portfolio: high-power laser cutting machines aimed at heavy-duty, high-speed production; H-beam, I-beam and special tube cutting systems built for structural steel fabrication; and 3D laser cutting machines for multi-axis work on complex formed components.

A Laser Technologies spokesperson called the tie-up as a pairing of strengths: “This collaboration combines our deep-rooted market leadership and service commitment with Hans Laser’s cutting-edge engineering excellence. You now have direct access to an unprecedented portfolio of high-performance solutions.”

The structural steel and heavy fabrication segment is one where laser adoption in India has trailed sheet metal cutting, and it’s this gap the partnership is aimed at. The companies chose AMTEX to make the announcement: the show is in its 14th edition this year, running alongside Fastener Fair India, and organisers expect over 4,000 trade visitors and 650-plus exhibitors across 40,000 square metres at Greater Noida.
