Konecranes has secured an order to supply nine overhead cranes and one cantilever crane to PT Tata Metal Lestari for its manufacturing facility in Sadang, West Java, Indonesia. The agreement, confirmed in February 2026, will support material handling operations throughout the plant, with deliveries and installation scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

The project includes a range of lifting solutions designed to meet the facility’s operational requirements across production and warehouse activities. The order comprises two 30-ton Konecranes CXT overhead cranes, one 16-ton CXT crane, one 12-ton CXT crane, one 10-ton CXT crane and three 10-ton Konecranes S-series overhead cranes. In addition, Konecranes will supply one 10-ton CXT cantilever crane. All overhead crane systems will be equipped with TRUCONNECT Remote Monitoring technology to support performance tracking and maintenance planning.

The cranes will play a critical role in handling raw materials, supporting production workflows and managing warehouse logistics at the facility. The integrated lifting systems are expected to improve operational continuity, strengthen workplace safety and support efficient material flow throughout the processing center.

“Given the scale and complexity of our operations, we required dependable lifting equipment capable of supporting continuous material handling across different stages of production,” said Krismanto Susilo, Purchasing Manager at PT Tata Metal Lestari. “We believe Konecranes’ solutions will help us maintain efficient workflows and reliable operational performance.”

Jimmy Halim, Country Director of Konecranes Indonesia, said the project reflects the company’s focus on delivering solutions tailored to industrial production demands. “This order demonstrates our commitment to helping customers improve operational efficiency, safety and reliability through advanced material handling technologies,” said Mr Halim. “Our crane systems are designed to minimise downtime while supporting productive and sustainable operations.”

Konecranes continues to expand its presence across industrial sectors by investing in automation, digitalisation and smart lifting technologies. The company’s TRUCONNECT monitoring platform enables customers to access equipment usage and condition data, supporting predictive maintenance and improving asset management.

Headquartered in Hyvinkää, Konecranes provides material handling solutions for industries worldwide and operates in more than 50 countries with approximately 16,500 employees. In 2025, the company reported group sales of EUR 4.2 billion. Konecranes shares are listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki under the symbol KCR.
