Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL), a leading provider of integrated mobility solutions across rail, road and marine transportation segments, announced its financial and operational performance for the year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting significant progress across rail systems, wheelsets, energy storage solutions, container manufacturing and passenger mobility initiatives. The company closed FY26 with a consolidated order book of ₹4,675 crore, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming years. During the year, JWL also received reaffirmation of its credit ratings from CRISIL, with long-term facilities rated CRISIL AA(-)/Stable and short-term facilities rated CRISIL A1(+), reflecting the company’s strong financial position and business fundamentals.

One of the standout achievements during the year came from Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory Private Limited, which crossed the ₹500 crore revenue milestone while maintaining healthy profitability. The business secured significant orders spanning freight wagons, LHB coaches, metro applications and Vande Bharat trains. Key wins included contracts for LHB axles, wheelsets and associated machining and assembly operations.

The company also strengthened its long-term growth outlook through a supply agreement with European wagon manufacturer Tatravagonka covering substantial wheelset requirements from JWL’s upcoming Odisha manufacturing facility. Construction at the greenfield plant is progressing according to schedule, with production expected to commence in phases over the coming years.

Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM) continued to expand its presence in the fast-growing battery energy storage sector. During FY26, the company developed modular Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for utility-scale and industrial applications and commissioned a cell-to-battery manufacturing line in Indore. Strategic agreements signed with renewable energy developers Chalukya Power and Pickrenew Energy added 110 MWh of BESS business to the order pipeline for FY27.

The company also reported healthy growth in its container manufacturing segment, supported by increasing demand and favorable policy developments aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities. A major strategic milestone was achieved through subsidiary Stone India Limited, which secured RDSO approval for its freight brake system. With this approval, Jupiter Wagons has completed backward integration across its core rail mobility product portfolio, enhancing control over quality, costs and supply-chain reliability.

Commenting on the year’s performance, Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Wagons Limited, said, “Despite industry-wide challenges during FY26, our diversified business model enabled us to maintain momentum across multiple growth areas. The expansion of our wheelset business, progress in battery energy storage systems, advancement of our Odisha facility and full backward integration of critical components position us strongly for the future. We are entering FY27 with a robust order book, expanding capabilities and a clear strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities across freight, passenger mobility and clean energy.”
