Inox Wind Limited (IWL) has secured a repeat 100 MW turnkey order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Indian Oil), the country’s largest oil marketing company. The order covers the complete execution of the wind power project and includes post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) services. Inox Wind will handle wind turbine generator supply, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project execution and long-term O&M.

The order adds to Inox Wind’s customer base across commercial and industrial companies, public sector undertakings and independent power producers. It also strengthens the company’s position as an integrated wind energy solutions provider with capabilities across the full project lifecycle.

Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO, Renewables business, INOXGFL Group, said the repeat order reflects the confidence of major institutional customers in the company’s capabilities and execution record. “We are pleased to have secured this 100 MW turnkey order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited, a Maharatna company and India’s largest oil marketing company. This repeat order is a testament to the confidence that leading institutional customers place in our integrated capabilities and execution track record,” he said.

Mr Tarachandani said India’s renewable energy growth is creating new opportunities for wind power, with large companies and public sector organisations seeking partners capable of delivering projects efficiently. Inox Wind is part of the $16 billion INOXGFL Group, which has more than nine decades of business history and operates across chemicals and renewable energy.

The company has five manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. These plants manufacture blades, tubular towers, hubs and nacelles for wind turbine generators. The company provides wind energy services from project development and turbine manufacturing to EPC, commissioning and O&M. It manufactures key wind turbine components in-house to support quality, reliability and cost control.
