Inox Wind Limited (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Inox Clean Energy Limited for the supply of 1,500 MW of wind turbines for renewable energy projects across India. The agreement marks a significant milestone in the INOXGFL Group’s integrated renewable energy strategy and provides long-term order visibility for Inox Wind as India accelerates its transition toward clean energy.

Under the agreement, Inox Wind will supply its advanced 3.3 MW and 4X MW wind turbine generators for projects being developed by Inox Clean Energy. The projects will form part of Inox Clean’s rapidly expanding renewable energy portfolio, which is expected to grow substantially over the coming years.

The partnership aligns with the Group’s recently launched “One Integrated” renewable energy strategy, which seeks to create a comprehensive ecosystem spanning renewable energy generation, manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and operations and maintenance services. The strategy brings together the capabilities of Inox Clean Energy, Inox Wind, Inox Renewable Solutions and Inox Green Energy Services to create a fully integrated renewable platform capable of delivering large-scale clean energy projects efficiently.

Inox Clean Energy has emerged as one of the fastest-growing renewable energy platforms in the country, achieving an operational portfolio of approximately 3.5 GW within its first two years of operations. The company plans to add more than 3 GW of renewable capacity annually and is targeting an operational renewable portfolio of 14 GW by FY29. Wind energy is expected to account for approximately 20–30 percent of these annual additions, creating a steady demand pipeline for Inox Wind’s turbine manufacturing business.

Commenting on the development, Sanjeev Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Wind Limited, said, “This agreement reinforces the strength of our technology, manufacturing capabilities and project execution expertise. As Inox Clean accelerates the development of large-scale renewable projects, we are pleased to play a key role in supporting its growth plans while securing long-term order visibility for our business. With this agreement, our order book now exceeds 4.5 GW, providing a strong foundation for sustained growth.”

Bharat Saxena, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Clean Energy, said, “The partnership strengthens our ability to execute renewable energy projects at scale while ensuring supply chain reliability and operational efficiency. Access to world-class manufacturing, project execution and maintenance capabilities within the Group gives us a significant advantage as we work towards building one of India’s largest renewable energy portfolios.”

The agreement highlights the increasing importance of integrated renewable energy platforms as India expands its clean energy capacity. By combining manufacturing, project development and operational expertise within a single ecosystem, the INOXGFL Group aims to create a scalable and efficient model for renewable energy growth while contributing to the country’s long-term sustainability objectives.
