Kilburn Engineering Limited has secured its first orders from Casale SA, Switzerland, valued at ₹70.2 crore, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth within the global fertilizer sector. The orders encompass the design, engineering and manufacture of specialized process equipment for fertilizer applications and establish Kilburn as a qualified supplier within Casale’s global vendor network.
Casale is among the world’s leading technology licensors serving the fertilizer, chemical and energy industries. Its supplier ecosystem supports some of the largest industrial projects globally, making qualification into its network a notable achievement for engineering and manufacturing companies operating in the process equipment space.
The order win reinforces Kilburn’s growing reputation as a trusted provider of thermal processing and material handling equipment for fertilizer applications. The company has developed significant expertise in the design and manufacture of dryers, granulators, coaters and coolers that play a critical role in modern fertilizer production facilities.
Commenting on the development, Amritanshu Khaitan, Chairman of Kilburn Engineering Limited, said, “The Casale orders validate the capabilities and quality standards that Kilburn has built over the years. Our ability to meet the requirements of leading technology licensors, global EPC contractors and major industrial customers demonstrates the strength of our engineering expertise and execution capabilities. We continue to see robust demand across the fertilizer sector and remain confident of sustaining this momentum.”
The Casale contract adds to a strong stream of fertilizer-related orders secured by Kilburn over the past twelve months. During this period, the company has received significant domestic orders from leading industry players including Coromandel International, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF), Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) and Hindustan Zinc. Collectively, these projects represent domestic business valued at approximately ₹100 crore.
Internationally, Kilburn has also strengthened its footprint through export contracts, including an order from Italian EPC contractor Tecnimont. The company has previously supplied equipment for the large-scale OCP Morocco fertilizer project through JESA, contributing to one of the most significant fertilizer investments currently underway worldwide.
With cumulative fertilizer sector orders crossing ₹170 crore over the last year, Kilburn is well-positioned to capitalize on growing investments in agricultural inputs and industrial processing infrastructure. The company continues to pursue opportunities across domestic and export markets, supported by a strong enquiry pipeline and increasing demand for high-performance thermal processing systems.
