INNOMAX AG, the authorised OMAX distributor in Germany, will showcase advanced abrasive waterjet cutting technology at EuroBLECH 2026, scheduled from October 20 to 23 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. Visitors to Hall 12, Stand F48 will be able to see the OMAX OptiMAX 60X JetMachining Center equipped with the TiltaJET taper-eliminating abrasive jet cutting head. The system is designed to deliver accurate cutting across a wide range of materials without creating heat-affected zones or mechanical stress.

The OMAX OptiMAX 60X offers a cutting envelope of 3.04 metres by 1.57 metres and provides linear positional accuracy and repeatability of ±0.025 mm. The machine also features ±0.076 mm ballbar circularity, making it suitable for manufacturers requiring consistent dimensional accuracy across a large cutting area.

“Manufacturers are looking for greater flexibility, productivity and part quality,” said Sven Anders, Sales and Engineering at INNOMAX AG. “At EuroBLECH, we look forward to demonstrating how OMAX waterjet technology helps manufacturers process a wide range of materials accurately and efficiently, without the thermal distortion associated with many traditional cutting methods.”

The machine is powered by OMAX IntelliMAX Premium Software, which supports programming and cutting operations. It also features the IntelliTRAX abrasive jet linear drive system with real-time, closed-loop positioning feedback. The TiltaJET cutting head automatically compensates for the natural taper produced during abrasive waterjet cutting. This allows manufacturers to produce straighter, taper-free edges and can reduce the need for secondary machining.

Abrasive waterjet cutting can process a broad range of materials without heat distortion. This makes the technology suitable for sheet metal fabrication, prototyping, short-run production and high-mix manufacturing environments. The EuroBLECH demonstration will also highlight the flexibility of waterjet technology for manufacturers handling different materials and changing production requirements. By eliminating the need for tooling changes between many material types, the technology can help simplify production processes.

Visitors to EuroBLECH will also see Hypertherm plasma technology demonstrated across the exhibition. Several Hypertherm Associates OEM and table-manufacturer partners are expected to present cutting solutions powered by Hypertherm plasma systems.

Hypertherm Associates is a US.-based manufacturer of industrial cutting products and software. Its portfolio includes Hypertherm plasma and OMAX waterjet systems used in industries including shipbuilding, aerospace, rail, construction, heavy equipment and renewable energy.

Founded in 1968, Hypertherm Associates is a 100% Associate-owned company with approximately 2,000 Associates and operations and partner representation worldwide. Its products include cutting systems, CNC equipment and software designed to improve manufacturing productivity and performance.
