Infosys and Intel have announced an expanded strategic collaboration aimed at helping enterprises accelerate the transition from pilot-stage artificial intelligence initiatives to large-scale production deployments. The partnership combines Intel’s high-performance and energy-efficient computing technologies with Infosys Topaz Fabric, an AI-first services platform developed to support enterprise-wide AI integration. The collaboration is designed to help organizations build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI environments capable of supporting complex business operations across industries.

Infosys Topaz Fabric brings together infrastructure, data, AI models, applications, and workflows into a unified ecosystem that supports intelligent automation and AI-driven business operations. Integrated with Intel’s open hardware and software architecture, the platform aims to simplify enterprise AI adoption while enabling flexibility across cloud, data center, and edge environments.

The two companies are jointly working on the design, optimization, benchmarking, and deployment of AI workloads across multiple Intel platforms, including Intel Xeon processors, Intel Gaudi AI accelerators, and Intel AI PCs. The initiative focuses on creating “right-sized” AI architectures that balance computing performance, security requirements, energy efficiency, and overall operational costs.

The collaboration targets enterprise use cases such as IT operations, software development productivity, intelligent automation, and workflow management. By integrating data management, AI model governance, security controls, and performance monitoring into a unified framework, the companies aim to help enterprises deploy AI solutions more reliably and efficiently in regulated and mission-critical environments.

The expanded partnership also supports the development of advanced AI agents capable of accessing enterprise data, coordinating tasks, and operating within established governance frameworks. These capabilities are intended to help organizations manage increasingly complex AI-driven workflows while maintaining operational control and compliance standards.

Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys, said the collaboration reflects the company’s focus on embedding artificial intelligence deeply and responsibly within enterprise operations. He noted that combining Intel’s computing capabilities with Infosys Topaz will help businesses scale AI adoption securely and cost-effectively while delivering measurable operational value.

Lip-Bu Tan, Chief Executive Officer of Intel, said the partnership with Infosys enables enterprises worldwide to access optimized and energy-efficient AI solutions that can be deployed across multiple computing environments, from cloud infrastructure to edge systems. The collaboration also reinforces the companies’ commitment to advancing open standards across the AI ecosystem, helping enterprises avoid fragmented deployments and enabling smoother integration across technologies and platforms.
