Hexaware Technologies has introduced the Zero Friction Enterprise, a new delivery framework designed to help businesses identify and reduce technology and operational barriers that can slow growth, innovation and digital transformation. The framework brings together Hexaware’s capabilities in technology modernisation, cybersecurity, software engineering, quality engineering, operations and enterprise applications. It is designed to help organisations address multiple technology constraints through a connected approach instead of managing each challenge as a separate programme.
According to Hexaware, friction can develop across an enterprise through ageing technology, security risks, technical debt, delayed software releases, operational issues, defects and dependence on software licences. While each issue may appear manageable individually, their combined impact can make it harder for organisations to respond quickly to changing business requirements.
The Zero Friction Enterprise framework is built around six key areas: Zero Vulnerability, Zero Tech Debt, Zero Backlog, Zero Defects, Zero Tickets and Zero License. Zero Vulnerability focuses on zero-trust and identity-first cybersecurity approaches designed to identify and contain threats earlier. Zero Tech Debt focuses on modernisation initiatives that reduce legacy technology constraints and support faster change. Zero Backlog uses AI-led software engineering to support activities from requirements and development through testing and release. Zero Defects applies AI-led quality engineering to identify problems earlier and reduce rework.
Zero Tickets focuses on AI-enabled IT operations that can identify and resolve incidents before they affect users. Zero License aims to help enterprises develop more of their own business capabilities through agent-based software development, potentially reducing dependence on per-user software licensing.
The framework is supported by Infinite Trust, a foundation covering data readiness, security, governance and observability. Hexaware said this layer is intended to create the conditions required for artificial intelligence to operate securely and responsibly at enterprise scale.
R Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director of Hexaware, said the company’s objective is to help customers become Zero Friction Enterprises by understanding the specific constraints affecting their businesses and technology environments and applying a combination of artificial intelligence, technology expertise and human judgment.
The delivery model is supported by Zerovity™, Hexaware’s AI delivery layer designed to coordinate activities across different parts of the technology estate. It can support migration, modernisation, software development, AIOps, cloud operations, releases and enterprise workflows. Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head, Digital IT Operations & AI, Hexaware, said AI can provide enterprises with a connected view across infrastructure, operations, engineering, services and business workflows.
Hexaware said the Zero Friction Enterprise is intended to provide customers with a unified approach to addressing technology constraints, allowing organisations to concentrate on business priorities while improving the speed and efficiency of transformation programmes.
