Delhivery Limited (NSE: DELHIVERY, BSE: 543529) reported a strong operating performance for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue from services increasing 28% year-on-year to ₹2,931 crore, supported by record express parcel volumes. The company handled 322 million express parcel shipments during Q1FY27, registering a 55% YoY increase. Its Part Truck Load (PTL) business recorded 542,000 metric tonnes, up 18% compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Delhivery reported EBITDA of ₹156 crore, translating into an EBITDA margin of 5.3%. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹62 crore before accounting for Ecom integration costs, while consolidated PAT for the quarter was ₹32 crore. The company ended the quarter with a cash balance of ₹4,677 crore, providing financial flexibility as it continues to invest in technology, network capabilities and new logistics solutions.
During the quarter, Delhivery expanded its technology and service portfolio with the launch of SmartNDR, an AI-powered value-added service aimed at helping e-commerce brands reduce return-to-origin (RTO) rates and improve delivery success. The company also commissioned an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) at client warehouses. The system is designed to automate warehouse operations while improving storage density and throughput.
Another major initiative was the launch of Delhivery Maps, described by the company as India’s first AI-native mapping suite powered by commercial logistics telemetry. The platform is now available as a standalone location-intelligence solution for enterprises and developers.
Delhivery also expanded its focus on the welfare of frontline logistics personnel. The company established Vishram, a nationwide network of more than 1,000 rest stops for delivery personnel, accessible across the logistics ecosystem. In addition, the company introduced Abhayam, a welfare programme for frontline workers that provides insurance protection, income support, scholarships for children and other forms of financial assistance. The initiatives reflect Delhivery’s broader focus on combining technology, network expansion and operational capabilities to address the evolving requirements of e-commerce and supply-chain customers.
