Dalmia Bharat Limited (BSE: 542216, NSE: DALBHARAT), one of India’s leading cement manufacturers, has reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, highlighting strong operational performance, strategic expansion, and continued focus on sustainable growth.

The quarter marked a significant milestone for the company with the completion of the acquisition of cement assets from Jaiprakash Associates’ cement undertaking. The acquisition adds 5.2 million tonnes per annum (MnTPA) of cement capacity and 3.3 MnTPA of clinker capacity across four strategically located plants in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, strengthening Dalmia Bharat’s presence in the Central region and advancing its ambition of becoming a pan-India cement player. The transaction was completed at an enterprise value of ₹2,850 crore.

Commenting on the performance, Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director and CEO, Dalmia Bharat Limited, said the acquisition represents an important step in the company’s growth journey. He added that the company’s prior understanding of these markets provides a strong foundation for integration and that Dalmia Bharat will focus on rapidly scaling operations while implementing its cost leadership practices to enhance long-term value creation.

Despite external challenges, including geopolitical uncertainties and temporary disruptions caused by state elections, the company delivered volume growth of 9% year-on-year. Focused commercial initiatives and improved pricing helped offset cost pressures, enabling Dalmia Bharat to achieve an EBITDA of ₹1,055 per tonne.

Dharmender Tuteja, Chief Financial Officer, Dalmia Bharat Limited, said the company maintained a disciplined approach to capital allocation despite completing the acquisition. He noted that the company’s moderate leverage position reflects its financial prudence, while continued emphasis on operational efficiency and execution excellence will support sustainable profitability.

During the quarter, Dalmia Bharat commenced commercial production at its 2.5 MnTPA Chunar Grinding Unit on June 20, 2026. The company also initiated trial production at the 3.3 MnTPA Rewa Clinker Unit in July 2026, further strengthening its manufacturing capabilities in the Central region.

The company also entered into agreements to acquire a stake in Oyster Green Hybrid Five Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle of Oyster Renewable Energy Private Limited. Through this investment, Dalmia Bharat will source hybrid renewable power comprising wind and solar energy for captive consumption at its Kadapa plant.

Dalmia Bharat received several recognitions during the period for its achievements in sustainability, safety, corporate responsibility, and operational excellence. The company was recognised at the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards, received multiple honours at the FAME India Awards 2026, and secured environmental excellence awards for its Rajgangpur and KCW units.

Founded in 1939, Dalmia Bharat operates with a cement capacity of 54.7 MnT across 19 manufacturing units in 12 states. The company remains focused on low-carbon cement production and has committed to global clean energy initiatives including RE100, EP100, and EV100.
