Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly Bartronics India Limited, and Ampivo Smart Technologies are set to expand their collaboration following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies. Under the proposed partnership, Ampivo’s digital agriculture platform, Agri Kisan Setu, will be introduced across identified villages within ASMS’ rural network.

Ampivo has developed and launched Agri Kisan Setu, a multilingual agriculture application currently available on the Google Play Store in seven languages. The platform is already being used in villages where the company is conducting farmer training and pilot programmes. Feedback from farmers is being used to improve the platform’s technology, content and services.

Ampivo is also working with Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), NGOs, institutions and other partners to expand the platform across India. The collaboration with ASMS will provide access to a wider rural network and help the company reach more farmers. Agri Kisan Setu brings together a range of agricultural services on a single digital platform. Farmers, agri-entrepreneurs and rural users can access farm management support, commodity market information, agricultural knowledge, tutorials and information on government schemes.

The platform also provides market price information and buyer-seller connectivity, while supporting access to specialised agricultural services such as drone services. These features are aimed at helping farmers improve farm operations, make better decisions, reduce costs and access markets more easily.

Ampivo is also developing the platform to support carbon credits and digital Measurement, Reporting and Verification (dMRV). The objective is to help eligible farmers participate in sustainability and carbon reduction programmes. Digital workflows are also being developed to help farmers identify government schemes and benefits based on their location, profile and agricultural activities.

N Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director, Avio Smart Market Stack Limited, said, “ASMS is focused on building an ecosystem that connects rural communities with markets, technology, financial services and new economic opportunities. Ampivo has developed and deployed a live digital agriculture platform, and we see an opportunity to extend these capabilities across our network villages.”

Anupam Shah, Chief Operating Officer, Ampivo Smart Technologies, said, “Ampivo has progressed from technology development to live deployment, with our application available on the Google Play Store and being used through our pilot programmes. Our multilingual and configurable platform is designed to adapt to different geographies, crops and farmer requirements.”

In the initial phase, the companies plan to introduce Agri Kisan Setu in selected villages within the ASMS network and onboard farmers to its existing agricultural information, knowledge and marketplace services. The two companies will later evaluate further integration with ASMS’ agriculture programmes, including digital advisory services, agricultural service delivery and eligible sustainability and carbon-credit programmes.

Avio Smart Market Stack Limited operates across Financial Inclusion & Digital Services, Agri Supply Chain & Technologies, and Diagnostics & Healthcare. The company has built a distribution network across rural India through its financial inclusion business and is using this reach to develop a technology-based agriculture ecosystem.

Ampivo Smart Technologies develops digital platforms connecting farmers with agricultural information, markets, services and institutions. Its multilingual Agri Kisan Setu application is live on the Google Play Store and is being piloted in rural markets. The company is expanding its farmer network through partnerships with FPOs, NGOs, institutions and other organisations across India.
