Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS), formerly known as Bartronics India Ltd, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ProClime Services Private Limited to jointly develop and commercialise advanced biochar-based soil enhancement solutions aimed at improving agricultural productivity, restoring soil health and supporting climate-resilient farming practices across India.
The partnership brings together ASMS’ extensive rural network, agricultural expertise and product development capabilities with ProClime’s specialised knowledge in biochar production and carbon project development. Through this collaboration, both companies will work towards creating scientifically validated biochar-integrated fertiliser solutions designed to enhance soil fertility, improve moisture retention, increase crop productivity and enable long-term carbon sequestration.
As part of the initiative, ASMS and ProClime will undertake research, laboratory assessments, field trials and agronomic validation across multiple crops, soil conditions and agro-climatic regions. Proposed laboratory studies at IIT Roorkee will support the evaluation and optimisation of biochar formulations for commercial applications. The companies will also explore the use of sustainable feedstocks, including bamboo, lantana, senna, pine needles and agricultural residues, to develop effective and scalable solutions for Indian farmers.
The collaboration will further examine opportunities to generate verified carbon credits through biochar application, creating potential economic benefits for farmers while encouraging the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and contributing to India’s climate goals.

Through this collaboration, ASMS and ProClime aim to bridge agricultural innovation and climate technology, enabling farmers to adopt sustainable practices while contributing to broader carbon reduction efforts.
