Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility, has introduced the Magnus G Max, a new electric scooter engineered to meet the everyday mobility needs of Indian households. Positioned as an accessible and practical EV option, the Magnus G Max combines extended range, dependable battery technology, and generous storage—making it well suited for daily commuting and household use.
Priced at an introductory ₹94,999, the scooter is aimed at customers looking to transition to electric mobility within the sub-₹1 lakh segment. The Magnus G Max delivers a real-world riding range of over 100 km in Eco mode, supported by a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery known for enhanced thermal safety and long service life. Ampere backs this with a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty, reinforcing confidence in long-term ownership.
Designed for Indian road conditions, the scooter features a robust dual-frame chassis, 165 mm ground clearance, and a top speed of up to 65 kmph. Power comes from a hub-mounted motor producing 1.5 kW nominal and 2.4 kW peak output, complemented by Eco, City, and Reverse riding modes for added convenience in traffic and parking situations.
A key highlight of the Magnus G Max is its 33-litre under-seat storage, among the largest in its segment, enabling riders to comfortably carry groceries, helmets, or daily essentials. Charging from 20% to 80% takes approximately 4.5 hours, making it practical for routine urban use and short intercity travel.
The scooter is available in attractive dual-tone colour options—Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green, and Cinnamon Copper—adding a modern visual appeal. Additional features include a 3.5-inch LCD digital display with USB charging, LED lighting, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, and dual rear shock absorbers.
With over 17 years of experience in electric mobility and a nationwide service network, Ampere continues to develop products grounded in real-world usage. The Magnus G Max reflects this approach, offering Indian families a reliable, spacious, and safe electric scooter designed for everyday life.
