RR Kabel has announced the national winners of the Kabel Star Scholarship Program 2025, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the education of children from the electrician community, fondly referred to as Kabel Dost. This year’s edition recorded its highest participation to date, with nearly 1,000 students selected from across the country.
Now completing four successful years and entering its fifth, the Kabel Star Scholarship Program has supported close to 4,000 students since its inception, with each recipient receiving ₹10,000 to assist with higher secondary education. With an annual outlay exceeding ₹1 crore, RR Kabel has invested a cumulative ₹4 crore in enabling educational access and encouraging academic excellence.
Launched in 2022, the initiative is designed to assist students who have successfully completed their Class 10 board examinations and require financial support to continue their studies. Over the years, the program has steadily expanded in scale and impact, reaching families across urban and rural India.
As part of the 2025 celebrations, more than 50 top-performing students, accompanied by their parents, will be invited to visit RR Kabel’s manufacturing facilities. The visit aims to provide firsthand exposure to industrial operations, innovation, and career opportunities within the manufacturing ecosystem.
In addition, outstanding achievers from earlier editions were recognised for maintaining consistent academic performance. To further support long-term learning, over 50 toppers from the first and second seasons were awarded laptops, enabling them to access digital learning resources and enhance their academic progress.
Speaking on the initiative, Kirti Kabra, Director, RR Global, highlighted the program’s purpose, stating that electricians form the backbone of the company’s journey, and the scholarship is a way to stand by their families and support the aspirations of the next generation.
The Kabel Star Scholarship has become a key pillar of RR Kabel’s community development efforts—strengthening family ties, promoting education, and creating lasting social impact. As the program continues to grow, RR Kabel remains committed to empowering electricians and their children through meaningful, long-term initiatives that extend beyond financial assistance.
