AIC T-Hub Foundation has announced the commencement of the second cohort of its Lab2Market programme, a 16-week initiative aimed at transforming laboratory discoveries into commercially viable ventures. Building on the achievements of the first cohort—which facilitated over 50 industry connections, established multiple academic partnerships, and filed four provisional patents—Cohort 2 brings together 19 startups operating in some of India’s fastest-growing and high-impact sectors.
The selected startups are developing innovative solutions across Mobility, SaaS, HR Tech, HealthTech, Sustainability, EnterpriseTech, EdTech, and AgriTech. Participants include Meet Connecy, TradeLayout, David AI, Spleen AI, Entheory AI, Cardio Pulmo AI, Inferno Energy, GPU Tech Private Ltd, ARK, Mehndi Bot, ZuppiBuy, WakokloN, Aptivision Technologies, ArtLegal, AG View 360, AuroFyn, Quelo, and Vidyu&Dashrobe.
Lab2Market offers structured mentoring, go-to-market strategies, intellectual property support, and investor access, enabling research teams to validate concepts, refine business models, and accelerate commercialization. The cohort spans a wide range of deep-tech innovations, including an AI-powered clinical decision-support platform integrating ECG, X-ray, and laboratory data for explainable risk analysis in low-connectivity settings; a patent-pending context layer for AI models that reduces context tokens by up to 90%; and a food-processing technology that converts indigenous crops into healthy, shelf-stable snacks, addressing post-harvest losses. Collectively, these startups illustrate India’s growing convergence of science, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Rajesh Kumar Adla, CEO of AIC T-Hub Foundation, commented, “Following the success of our first cohort, we are expanding collaborations with multinational companies and investors to help Cohort 2 startups bring their innovations to market. Lab2Market provides researchers with a unique platform to convert their discoveries into scalable businesses. This cohort is poised to raise the bar further.”
Over the 16-week programme, participants will gain access to compliance and certification guidance, early adopter networks, and pilot opportunities, preparing them for scaling operations. Progress will be evaluated through the formation of industry partnerships, successful research-to-market conversions, and investment traction. By connecting startups with mentors and ecosystem partners, Lab2Market continues to strengthen Telangana’s position as a hub for deep-tech and research-driven entrepreneurship.
