ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), a leading integrated renewable energy company, has secured ₹3,404.57 crore in long-term project financing from Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) for the development and construction of its 250 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project being implemented through ACME Urja One Private Limited (Phase-III).

PFC will act as the sole lender for the project, providing funding with a repayment tenure of 19 years. With this latest financial closure, ACME Solar has raised a total of ₹6,051 crore in project funding during the current fiscal year, further strengthening its ability to execute large-scale renewable energy projects.

The ACME Urja One (Phase-III) FDRE project is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited at a tariff of ₹4.33 per unit. The tariff has already received approval and adoption from the relevant Central and State regulatory authorities, providing long-term revenue visibility for the project.

The project integrates multiple renewable energy technologies, including solar power, wind energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), to deliver reliable and predictable renewable power. The combination of these technologies enables enhanced dispatchability and supports the transition towards a more flexible and resilient clean energy ecosystem.

Located across Fategarh-II in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and Jamkhambhaliya in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, the project has secured the required land and connectivity infrastructure. Construction activities are progressing as planned, with commissioning expected in the next year.

Commenting on the development, ACME Solar said the successful funding arrangement reflects strong lender confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and renewable energy strategy. The project marks another step towards expanding firm renewable power capacity and supporting India’s clean energy transition.

ACME Solar continues to expand its portfolio across solar, wind, energy storage, FDRE and hybrid renewable solutions. The company currently has a diversified renewable energy portfolio of 8,070 MW, including operational contracted capacity of 2,990 MW, approximately 3.62 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System capacity, and 5,080 MW of under-construction contracted capacity.

With integrated capabilities across engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M), ACME Solar manages the complete lifecycle of renewable energy projects. This integrated approach enables efficient project execution, cost optimisation and strong operational performance.
